Ecommerce is a challenging market that is constantly changing. Ceramcor worked with us to meet the mobile-first browsing habits of their customers with a reponsive redesign of their cookware site.
The first step to any design project is to determine the overall goals for the brand. With Xtrema, we wanted to modernize their identity, create an easy, intuitive online shopping experience, and ultimately convert customers and keep them coming back.
Most of our designs start on paper. Nailing the initial layout and experience is imperative, especially for ecommerce. We worked directly with the guys at Ceramcor to finalize out the overall layout, shopping cart user experience, and any additional requests and considerations that came up.
In addition to a full redesign and new store implementation, we also set out to spread the word about Xtrema holiday specials via special promotions and contests on Facebook & Twitter. The results were phenominal - far overexceeding even our expectations.
