Italian Lake

Italian Lake is one of the most popular parks in Harrisburg, and is the namesake for this uptown neighborhood. The park itself features Italian Renaissance-style walkways, gardens, and landscaping, and hosts many community events during the summer months.

Pros

Aside from its proximity to the park (and the free outdoor concerts and other events that take place there), one of the biggest draws of the Italian Lake neighborhood is its proximity to downtown. It’s only about 2 miles from downtown, but is a relatively quiet area with an almost suburban feel.

Cons

Italian Lake one of the more expensive neighborhoods in Harrisburg.
