Bellevue Park

Bellevue Park is a residential neighborhood about two miles from downtown Harrisburg. It was Central PA’s first landscaped suburb, and is known for its beautiful homes and well-maintained grounds.

Pros

The Bellevue Park Association is dedicated to preserving its appearance, so it should come as no surprise that it’s a beautiful place to live. It was designed with landscape conservation in mind, so it’s full of winding roads, foliage, and not an electrical wire in sight.

Bellevue Park also has a community building that hosts many neighborhood activities and events year-round.

Cons

Each resident automatically becomes a part of the Bellevue Park Association, which comes with an annual membership fee. Residents also need approval from the board for certain landscaping and home alterations, which may be an annoyance to those who like taking on renovation projects.
