  • I don’t know what I would do without League Gothic. It is such a perfect font for headlines. I used to use Bebas for similar uses, but since League Gothic has lowercase characters and seems a little more refined in general, I switched over.

I am also a big fan of Orbitron. I haven’t had a real project that called for its use yet, but I love experimenting with it. It has such a futuristic, sci-fi, warfare feel.

  • Great collection of Fonts. I’m going to give Aerohop a try on a few projects.

  • League Gothic is very beautiful (and in general, the fonts that The League of Moveable Type releases are great).

Oblik’s another one of my favorites, but I find that I need to reduce the tracking to make it more compact.

  • BEBAS is my favorite and I am so much in love with it… It is the perfect Title font ever 🙂 It is audacious and strong.. and defines a true gentleman typeface 😀

    League Gothic is also great…

  • Ghostmiro

Nice collection, Will certainly try League Gothic!
    Thx for sharing

  • Yes, I love Bebas too, clean, letter-spacing, and very powerful. It really defines what a “bold font” is, so I decided to lead off with it in this collection.

  • Aldrin

I really love the sexyness of Bebas Neue, but it’s not available in typekit. that’s the bad thing.

All these are free for commercial use too?

  • I would double-check each licensing agreement and limitations of use, but I *think* most — if not all — of them are available for use in commercial works. But to make sure that you are respecting the creators of these fonts, please do read the license.

  • These are great, thanks for sharing! I’ve used them already!

  • You can use Oblik Bold, Oblik Bold Italic and Oblik Serif Bold freely for personal and commercial use 😉

  • Dusan, thanks for stopping by. I’m a big fan of Tour de Force fonts!

  • 🙂
We just have to offer new Oblik Classic Bold Italic also for free!

  • ReTox

Too bad Capricorn is no longer available for download

  • Thanks for that. I’ve updated the post to let people know it’s no longer free.
