• Yeah ! I’ve made another post about Comic Sans MS alternative fonts, here : http://vainsfaktory.com/2009/01/27/ressources-10-alternatives-a-la-comic-sans-ms%E2%80%A6/

  • Thanks for sharing the link Joe.

  • Nice Comics font…

Are these fonts free for commercial used? I’d like to use them in a newspaper. Thanks.

  • I would read the licensing agreement of the font/s you want to use just to make sure you’re safe.

  • Some really good fonts, but don’t get the licensing part of it, is there a copy right thing going on?

  • These fonts have their individual licensing terms. Click through to download and read their licensing terms.

  • Can these fonts be used freely without any fear of trade mark issues?

  • JC Parmley

Each of these fonts have their individual licensing terms. When you click to download a particular font, it will direct you to its licensing terms.

  • M. Farlow

Thanks for the links. Seeing the fonts in use is really helpful.

A number of them are Blambots fonts, which allow free use for personal or a very limited range of commercial uses and require you to buy a license for most commercial use. If you’re an indie comic maker that is making your own comics and not publishing or distributing through mainstream you may use them commercially for free for your comics and merch promoting your comics. The others I don’t know about.

I like this article. I recently found this site that lets people download tons of commercial fonts for free. Just wanted to share it with you.

  • Donna Rossi

Thanks SOOO much for sharing these fonts and their licensing terms. Really appreciate it.
