• M.S. in Information Science and Technology, with a concentration in search engines from the University of Pittsburgh.
• Doctoral research for thesis: "Efficiencies of Electronic Marketplaces"

William, with his 14 years of experience in the Internet marketing industry, has gained extensive knowledge of all phases of Internet services and strategy: information architecture, quantitative analysis, systems development life cycles, Internet advertising, ecommerce, user interface design, and search engine optimization, his current area of expertise. William's background in scientific computing and information architecture provided the foundation for CrawlerFX, a proprietary search engine for SEO, which contributed to WebpageFX's perpetual ranking as a Top 20 organic search engine optimization firm in the world, as ranked by TopSEOs. Prior to founding WebpageFX with Karie Shearer, William worked as a Portal Architect on a classified contract for the Department of Defense.

 

Karie Shearer
Title: Executive Vice President / COO

Karie has an extensive knowledge of the Internet marketing industry and start-up companies. Prior to joining WebpageFX, she worked as a departmental manager and an integrator for the $141 million dollar buyout of WebClients.net by ValueClick.

Marsha Davis, Executive Director, Murata Business Center

Davis has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, board membership and community involvement in the Pennsylvania area, starting with the founding and 19-year successful track record of Dasher Inc., a direct marketing firm. Davis has received numerous awards and recognitions, including Best 50 Women in Business PA, Small Business of the Year, Inc. Entrepreneur, and Harrisburg Business Leader of the Year. The Mayor of Harrisburg appointed Marsha to the Board of the Harrisburg Business Development Committee. She was the first woman Chair of CREDC (Capital Region Economic Development) and was the first female member of CPAN (Central PA Angel Network).

Mickey Nye, President of H&H Chevrolet

President and CEO of H&H Chevrolet, Pontiac and Cadillac of Shippensburg PA, Nye is also the President of Kaphoe Development Corporation and an Executor of the Frank E. Hollar, Jr. Estate. Both organizations are primarily in the Real Estate Development business in the Shippensburg area.

Barb Rose, Public Relations

Rose has more than ten years experience in high tech public relations and marketing experience. At TruSecure, formerly ICSA, the leading Internet Security provider, she drove the company's public relations efforts from 1994-2000. Her efforts grew awareness of the organization through top level story placement, press, and analyst tours. Rose also secured high level speaking opportunities for executives through the planning of successful thought leadership programs. Rose held the senior marketing and public relations positions with advertising agencies, Computer Associates, Inc., and PestPatrol, an anti-spyware software vendor. Rose's experience and knowledge was key to the successful growth and later sale of PestPatrol to Computer Associates in 2004.

Kevin Gold, Esquire, Partner, Rhoads & Sinon LLP

Gold is the Administrative Chair of Rhoads & Sinon LLP's employment and labor practice. He also serves as a founding member of the technology/intellectual property law group, where he advises clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights under trademark, trade secret, copyright law, and emerging technology issues involving the Internet. Gold has been featured in the national media for his sports representation practice, including the USA Today, Los Angeles Times and New York Daily News.

L. Mohun Kapur, Infotech Consulting

Kapur is the Business Development Manager for Infotech Consulting in Mechanicsburg, PA. Infotech is a premier provider of information technology services in Central Pennsylvania. He is currently part of the sales and business development team, and manages a number of key accounts, including several large departments at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
