It’s hard to believe that the average cardholder actually has at least 3 credit cards! But this isn’t quite as shocking when you think about the fact that 78% of shoppers will be online spending nearly $3000 each year online. Credit card use can easily get out of hand, and just by seeing these statistics of eCommerce sales, the numbers are only going to go up.

Credit card spending through forms of PayPal or Google Wallet are driving the eCommerce world on the internet while the average person carries about 3-4 actual credit cards in their pocket. While eCommerce is greatly occupied by a younger generation, the use of credit cards online is increasing every year as our world becomes more connected through the internet.
